NO I wouldnt do that at all. Admittingly I dont know much about Schafer, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Vernon Wells, if healthy, is in a better position to have a great year than Nady. There are too many DH/OF on the Yankees roster. Span, I believe is a leading off and in a great position to get steals and runs.
