Water flow from dispenser is choppy?

I bought a cheap water dispenser for the fridge. It just one of those simple plastic ones. It's about a gallon size. The water only comes out right when it's completely full. After I get one cup of water, it starts to slowly sputter instead of draining smoothly. Any easy way to fix that? Thanks.
