Why would my computer connect to a new teredo network?

my norton info shows protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adaptor "Teredo Tunnling pseudo-interface" ip address... you get the point, and identical info on "Microsoft 6to4 adapter" ip address whatever why would this happen?
