Birthday gifts for nieces?

I have two nieces who will be turning 5 and 3 soon. I have no idea what to get them for their bdays. They like dora the explorer and certain disney princesses. Their mom is anti-barbie dolls, and they already seem to have every toy imaginable. So...I'm lost. I don't have a lot of money to spend either. Help?!
