Christians against gay marriage...?

Most of my Christian friends are in favor of marriage equality for all. All couples who wish to affirm their intention to love, support and care for one another should be able to do so. This is especially helpful for couples raising children, and when one becomes ill and must go to the hospital or when one dies and the surviving spouse wishes to stay in the home they made together. Marriage as an institution helps to stabilize relationships and discourage promiscuity.
