Connected to network but no Internet on wireless USB adapter?

Hello. My wireless USB adapter doesn't want to connect to the Internet we tried a different adapter (same model) and it worked. At my old house my USB adapter connected just fine to an unsecured network. But nowim on a secured network and it's signal is excellent but no Internet? Any thoughts? Thanks!
