Please help me!!????

Okay theres this boi at school he smells bad! He is mean to every girl in our cl and when we doing our projects and he came over and put his arm on my shoulder and hit me on my shoulder and I tried to hit him then i did and he ran off! Should i tell? that im not sure cause he said if i did he would beat me up I kno Im a boxer but he is too in a higher cl!!!! AHHH! help im very scared!! I told my ma and she said he will get over it!!! Should i defend myself??? or just let him abuse me??? IM VERY SCARED!!! HELP!!
