Why did these people have to die?

I'm a Christian. Still young and looking for answers, I'm 18. This is kind of strange, but I saw the dark knight for the second time tonight and came home and watched some tributes to Heath Ledger. I started bawling. It just makes me so upset that such a talented actor who had his whole life ahead of him died like that. His performance blew me away. Now i'm more sad than ever because I begin to think about all the amazing things he could be apart of. So I started crying even harder...thinking about the friends I've lost. (very very good friend died when he was 14) Why does God take away some of the most wonderful people we'll ever meet...so soon? I know I've never met Heath, but it's still heartbreaking.
