i just had dentures put in thursday morning had 16 teeth pulled and now saturday night my right side of my face is swollen and the left side is starting to swell i go back to work on monday and was wondering how long this should last???? also i went to put the denture in this morning and it didnt want to go in because of the swollen area on my right side but after leaving it in my mouth for 15 minutes gently guiding it up there it went in, then i removed it and put some fixodent on it, i have been rinsing my mouth out with salty water, and i bought some mouthwash a couple of my friends told me about its called orajel antiseptic mouth sore rinse, i used it twice and it made my mouth smell better but just wondering if there is anything else i can do to start the lessen the swelling???any feedback is greatly appreciated, also i did go back to the dentist on friday to let them check the denture out and to do three adjustments on it where i told them it was rubbing at....well anyways thanks for whoever answers ill be waiting by my email lol

For years now i've been a huge admirer of the NBC hit tv show "The Office". I started watching while on my first deployment to the middle east and I still proclaim it as my favorite TV show to watch. I've had and been around horses all my life and someone told me something I had never heard of before. I have miniature horses and a few of them have blue eyes. A mare with 2 blue eyes recently had a filly with 2 blue eyes. My boyfriends aunt supposedly knows alot about horses as well and she said if you breed a blue eyed stallion with a blue eyed mare there baby would die from lethal white syndrome because the blue eyes carry that bad gene. I had never heard of this and did some looking up and found the lethal white syndrome could occur in any paint horse horse, not just the ones with blue eyes. So does anyone know more about this?

Back Pain?

About two months ago I began having very painful back spasms during this time that I was depressed and very anxious. After the spasms I have had every imaginable type of back pain lower, mid (pelvic as well), between shoulders and even neck which caused me a week of bad headaches. I suspect defered pain because now its my tailbone it hurts and I feel constipated. I already been to the doctor and physical therapy for the pain. The doctor told me I had an acute back injury and the PT with motrin would cure it. The PT helped with the lower back pain but I can't remeber the last day I've had no pain. I'm confused and tired of this. I'm worried about disease but I don't what disease causes just back pain w/o any other symptoms. I don't know what to do please help. Note- I use to lift weights a lot could this be of any correlation?

I hear all the time about how health professionals don't want us to go on crash diets because they're unhealthy, but these same doctors perform and encourage morbidly obese people to have gastric byp surgery, where your stomach is reduced to the size of a walnut? People who have this surgery can't eat more than an ounce of food at a time for several weeks. Why is it OK to starve after surgery, but not on your own? There is no way an extremely obese person is going to be able to change their eating habits so they can lose 1-2 lbs per week, which is what most nutritionists reccomend.

I Have been feeding my Shiba Inu 1 1/2 year old raw chicken and lamb patties that I buy from an upscale pet store in California here. He gets 3 patties in the morning and then some snacks in the day and then he gets lotus brand kibble which is a all chicken product that has many veggies and vitamins like an upscale organic kibble. I put ground up chicken on top to make the kibble more interesting. My question is should I switch to all raw patties by lotus since he seems to get loose stools from something in the kibble? He has been having slightly loose stools for months on the kibble and he has already been stool tested at the vet for parasites, worms. etc. Have you had good luck with all raw and firmer stools? A TV company keeps filming in my road. It is a small road and they cone off areas making it inconvenient, and sometimes I come home to find they have parked over my driveway. Pain after Cavity Fillings?

I recently had three cavity fillings done on my teeth. Two on my left side (top, bottom) and one on my bottom right side. I've had the fillings for a little more than a month and it still hurts to eat. Every time I bite down on something hard or even chewy (like gum) there's a bit of pain. A better option for exercising for you may be to join a gym, get a personal trainer to show you how to use the machines, and stay away from exercises that irritate your foot and ankle (like treadmill or elliptical machines). There are plenty of other machines in gyms that will exercise your body without injuring it. It is best to seek professional help, as it is very easy to injure yourself in or outside the gym without someone who understands body mechanics and anatomy to explain to you how to do the workouts.

Question about losing weight...please help?

I need to lose some weight. Since I was really young I would barely ever get hungry and definately wouldnt overeat but I would still seem to gain weight! So I went to a nutritionist and she said to start eating more to speed up my metabolism. The problem with that is when eating more (even though its healthy food) I end up gaining some weight or staying at the same weight. When I start eating less (2 meals a day or less) I stay the same as well. I'm just really confused. I also do exercise between cardio, dance cles, weight training and yoga.... so I am active as well. I'm not at a healthy weight and I'm concerned... though the doctors have found nothing medically wrong with me as far as not being able to lose weight (thyroid probs and such). Any ideas on what I can do?

How to get rid of horrible smell in kitchen?

For the past few days there has been this horrible smell of dog poop and chocolate. I finally jut found it was the rotten potatoes on our kitchen counter and black liquid was coming out from the bottom of the bag. I threw it out outside and srcubed it with Lysol wipes and hand sanatozer but the smell is still there. Does anyone know what I can use to take the smell away, maybe a home remedy. Also if I can use it to disinfect all my counters very good that would be great. I have light granite counter tops.

Until it is paid they are not entitled to any more welfare. Anchor babies do not qualify and should be deported along with the parents if the father can be found. Why not spend this money on our veterans and there survivors. Some gave it all.

Ok.First I'm married with 2 kids.My husband had a good job and I stayed home with the kids(they're both in elementary school).When winter approached and the economy slowed down my husband's work did too.I only have a high school diploma and it doesn't seem to mean much these days as far as me finding work.I'm currently taking the CNA cl and if I p my state test and get licensed I plan on putting in job applications so I can work because we need the money.There is a LPN program that will be taking applications in May and if I get accepted there I can start in September '09.I want to be an RN and one school I checked with who has a RN program won't take applications till August and if I get in (after completing the prerequisites) the cles won't start till I think like fall of 2010.I don't want to wait that long before starting nursing school.So I figure if I become a CNA so I can work.Then if I get accepted to the LPN program (and we can make it on my husband's income )I can become a LPN and go to work and then transition later to a RN.The other school I mentioned also has a LPN transition to RN program.Does this sound like a decent plan?Ideally I wish I could just get into a RN program and finish in 2yrs but we need more income so I may have to rotate work and school till I get where I want to be.Also my husband may change careers and I'll need to have a decent job for us to make it for him to be able to go to school.Please no Tom Bosworth answers or anything like that.

Ok.... My Brother and Soon to be Sister in law moved their wedding up. I went in and got measured and paid for my dress. She told me I was a size 12. I got home looked up the measurments for alfred angelo dresses and there is no way I will fit in that dress. According to their chart a size 12 is 38 1/2 bust 29 1/2 waist and 41 inch hips. I am all of those except the waist. I am a 32-33 inch waist. How do they expect me to fit in this dress?? I am a little worried about it since the wedding was moved up to March from June. The woman told me I was in between a size 12 and 14 and that she was going to order the 12. There are no refunds and the dresses do not come in till March 12th and the wedding is on March 30th. What is wrong with my scooter?

I bought a used 2008 Vento Triton. It ran perfectly fine for the first few days then all of a sudden whenever I start it up it will start fine then after getting to about 10mph it sputters and dies. I can let it idle for a long time and it sounds fine but once I hit 10mph, everytime it will sputter and die. The gas is full and the oil is filled as well so I have no idea what's wrong with it. Subs in my car wont work?

I have 2 Dual SD12 subs hooked up to my Dual XPE 400 watt amp. I dont really know much about this stuff but my friend got it for me and helped me install it. the amp turns on but the subs dont do anything. everything is wired correctly, ground, battery, REM, RCA, etc. if theres anything anyone can tell me it would be greatly appreciated. also the subs are both 4 ohms, the amp is 2 ohms, 2 channel amp. i dont know if that helps.
